Grandpa, Mike, Heather, now David

These days I'm wondering why all these people I care about and "What the Hell?" all in 6 months.

Grandpa - I love you as you were and couldn't expect more.

Mike - Big Mike Mongo Damn I saw you carry a fridge no sweat then you die from a heart infection.

Heather - You were there when I hit my lowest and stood by, an emptiness is here when I think of you.

Dave - Man of Fire and Whit, I have always look up to and respected you, a leader among men. Stand before God and receive your blessings well earned. Your friends and family miss you.

Bittersweet these tears.
Knowledge that I will see you, however long that will be, you in Gods image able to praise and worship as intended.
A wife left behind, empty arms, a cold bed, and a soul mate gone away.
This hell called life having lost its glow, now its just a time spent away from you.
You were a gifted mechanic, a mentor to many and a leader of men
2 children's lives forever changed, brought into your home and loved as yours
A hunter who loved all gods creation, and never got an elk
As a child tales of go cart racing on cattle guards, always a smile

Dave you hit me so hard, I miss you and will never forget.
Travis

Martin Wenks - Remembered

My grand father

Martin George Wenks passed away

at approximately 8am on 4/16/08.

He was 71 years old

a life of many sorrows and joys

He saw his great grand daughter - 6 days new

this new life to continue an upward road

He gained the forgiveness of a daughter

acceptance of faults and putting the past behind

He is remembered for influencing students

lives touched by a great teacher, and photographer

He cannot be called a saint, nor a demon

a man and subject to human faults

He can be remembered for these later years

an angst to reach someone to care

He drank

to forget, to escape, to relieve

He taught me to photograph life

developing in the darkroom in the basement

He made a difference to me

a colouring book for xmas 96' now photos developed

He took himself from my life and my child's

the easy life comes without responsibility

He never headed the warning

providence is hard way to learn

His life a lesson to me

emma what will you name your children

I cannot accept 71

a life to short, a mind to far gone

Death comes, and leaves a legacy

sons and daughters will remember

Lives touched, good or bad

lessons from mistakes, must be learned

71 or 101

another generation to share

Family to hold you close and remember you

truth, wisdom, and moral fortitude

Custom Field Sorting in vtiger with Ubuntu Hardy

So in order to make a custom field sort all you have to do is add it to the list of sortable fields. To do this you need first to make a custom field.

Create a Custom Field
Lets call ours "Type" so that we can sort our customers according to business type. First log in to your portal via the admin username, then click settings, Custom Fields. Now you will need to choose the module you wish to add this field to. For ours we will use "Contacts" so click the pull down labeled "Select Module" then click Contacts. Now select "New Custom Field" Now you choose a Label and type, enter "Type" and lets use "Multi-Select Combo Box" now you are presented with "Pick list Values" enter the types of contacts you want available. We will use Business and Personal now just hit save. Congrats you made a custom field.

Find the Custome Field Number
Because vtiger names the table in sql cf_"ascending number" instead of the label you typed you have to find the name of your new field. To do this you need to be logged into the vtiger portal and in the module you created your custom field in, for ours we log in the select sales, contacts or marketing, contacts. Make sure that you see you custom fields, you may need to create a filter that includes them. To do this you need to click by filters where is says new, just select a few fields along with your custom fields. Put in a name and hit save. Then you are taken back to the screen where you have your contacts under filters select your new filter .On a pc or linux machine you can right click, on a mac cntrl click to right click and select view source. then search for "cf_" you will turn up something like
<option label="Type" value="cf_488">Type
